Workshop Basic Information

Workshop Dates

The duration of the workshop is three (3) days:

  • April 4-6, 2025

Important note: Your arrival to London should be scheduled for Thursday 3rd of April.

Accommodation

Accommodation is included for the three (3) nights of the Workshop, in a double room (shared with another participant of the same sex).

Class Size

The class size maximum would be three (3) participants, as I want everyone to have a direct personal connection with me, discussing any possible question you might have.

Cost Details

The cost per person is 1000€, which includes the tuition fee, accommodation for three (3) nights as also the entry ticket to the Shard.
In order to book your seat, a deposit fee of 30% is required. You can find more details below.

Registration

After booking your seat, an appointment will be scheduled for a Google Meet call so to meet and discuss all details about the workshop.
The full workshop schedule will be send to your email after your successful registration.
All participants must sign and send back to the Workshop Host the Workshop Terms and Conditions which can be found here.

Cancellation Policy

Any change or cancellation from the side of the participant must be send written directly with an email at: workshop@christopheanagno.com.

Please note that any cancellation of participation is valid from the moment we receive it written on email and AFTER you receive a confirmation response from our side.

*Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE but the participant retains the right to use/transfer this deposit for another workshop.*

Christophe is the instructor of this Workshop. He is committed to sharing his insights, offering guidance, and ensuring each participant gains not only valuable skills over the three-day duration of the Workshop, but also to capture some amazing photos of the beautiful city of London.

What to bring?

My philosophy is to always carry less, and this has its benefits.
Just bring your favorite camera, no matter if it is your phone or a brand new mirrorless, 1-2 memory cards and of course some spare batteries.
Don’t forget to check next section regarding photographic gear!

Will there be any indoor sessions, like in example editing?

Well, no. The concept of this workshop is to shoot a lot while having the best possible experience as we will walk around and explore the city of London.
All questions will be answered directly out in the field with practical examples.

Except photography gear what else should I have with me?

It’s a short duration city break, so an extra pair of clothing will do just fine.
An ideal bag will be a backpack with room for both some personal items, clothing and your camera, which will be a carry-on luggage on airplane.
Oh, a comfortable pair of shoes is a must though as we will walk a lot!

Do I need a Passport to travel to London?

From 1 October 2021 you need a valid passport to travel to the United Kingdom (UK is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

What my daily meal costs would be (aprrox.) ?

Starting from breakfast, a typical English Breakfast costs around 10-12£ and except that is delicious, it will keep our energy in high levels until early evening (with some cereal bars or small snacks during the day of course).

A good dinner will cost around 20-30£ per person in general, covering a wide variety of food – from burgers to pizza, from pasta to fish and chips.

As a side note, please keep in mind that I have carefully selected a variety of dining options in various locations around the city. No matter where we are, it will be easy for the group to find a good place to eat during the day.

What about public transportation costs?

In London it is very easy to move between different parts of the city with the Tube or the famous Red Buses.
While most of the time we will be walking in specific paths, in order to not tire ourselves and to not miss valuable time, we will (mostly) use the Tube.

You can use your debit or credit card on Tube instead of a regular ticket, once when entering and then in the exit, and the overall daily cost on Tube (and transportation in general) will be around 5-7£ per day.

Note: the Tube cost from Heathrow airport to the city is around 13£.

In each of my workshops, participants are welcome to use all available equipment, enhancing their learning experience and enabling them to push the boundaries of their creativity.

This practically means that in case you miss something, cannot bring a gear item with you or simply want to test something new, you can freely use all available equipment during the workshop.

Each participant will receive a free HOYA filter.

Tripods

The brand new travel tripod from Slik, the Rover series, will be available to test during the workshop.
