Astrophotography & Timelapse Workshop, June 2018, Antiparos Greece
I’m so happy that the first Astrophotography & Timelapse Workshop in Antiparos island was completed with success !!!
My goal always was to make those workshops on this beautiful island with low light pollution and such an amazing night sky !
It was 3 creative days with crystal clear night skies where we shared some amazing moments and of course fantastic nightscape photos !
It was a nice surprise that one of the participants was from the south hemisphere because it was so interesting to describe him the differences of the northern sky !
The participants were so excited to capture the Milky Way Galaxy for the first time with their cameras and obtained knowledge that will help them the next time they will be out on the field !
They also tested and used on their cameras various Tokina lenses, including the brand new Tokina Firin 20mm F/2 AF (E-mount) and the Tokina AT-X Pro 17-35mm F/4 & 24-70mm F/2.8 (F-mount). They also saw the difference on their images when they used the light pollution filter Hoya RA54 Red Enhancer.
The second day and after shooting some images of the night sky and the Milky Way Core only with a tripod, they also used the Vixen Polarie Star Tracker to increase the exposure time without star trailing.
Next workshop on the island will be at July 12-14 !
See you there !
